WHY ??

The interminable (having or seeming to have no end) question.

There was a book written called the Book of Why.

We always ask WHY??

Why did it happen.

I would like to put to you at this time the following, relative to our faith and beliefs.

It is unfortunate that some Pastors are either ignorant or have changed the text of The Holy Bible to suit their desired way of life.

A friend of mine ex:Navy has a lung complaint caused by the engine room conditions on a warship during the Vietnam War and is now a Pastor.

A reasonably intelligent friend a Pastor told him that the reason he was not fully healed was because he had insufficient faith.

Upon those comments I would like to bring you the following to prove that faith and wellness do not necessarily go hand in hand.

What do we need most to be totally healed of all complaints OR be able to do God's will.

God will make it possible for you to do anything that He wants you to do and He will prepare you with that goal in mind, If you need to be a totally fit Amazonian type person then I am sure He can cause this to happen.

For myself Our Lord has worked in many miraculous ways, too many to believe and too many to write about at this time but standby, one day He will cause me to write about them.

Many people become unwell and many people through various misfortunes come to grief in one way or another, car accidents, bike accidents, climbing accidents swimming accidents and the list goes on. Unfortunately some die.

Before I continue here I might suggest that you hear Pastor Robert Cotton's sermon on R U Saved available to download from www.todbaptist.com The Open Door Baptist Church, Mount Gambier South Australia.

I could not leave that out as it would be on my conscience if I did not ask the Question Are YOU Saved??

Just a simple accident can claim you life.

Then would come the Question WHY did this happen, he was a good person so WHY did God let this happen.

I feel that God does not Just LET THINGS HAPPEN.

WHY would I say that?? Well If you care to consider that as man, that God gave us a free will, for those who do not yet believe, then I am sure that you consider that you have free will.

If this is so then why would one blame God. For the unsaved this is certainly a time of worry as they consider that all ties and relationships are cut, for the saved, We know that we will meet again in Heaven, a sad time at the loss of a loved one but in perspective we can say that they have gone to be with the Lord.

I am sure that this eases the pain considerably and in this knowledge we can rest happy.

I must continue and say that those who are unsaved can only be assured that they will be once again with their loved one but in a far less pleasing environment. Hades

God does not want one soul to perish but to all be with Him in heaven.

Why would I think that? Well I refer you to.

II Corinthians 4:14:
Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

II Corinthians 5:14:
5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. 12For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart. 13For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. 14For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: 15And that he died for all, that they which live should not

For the skeptic maybe you should read here then come back. Because the King James Version of The Bible is the infallible Word of God.

After digressing somewhat we should consider Paul, the writer of many epistles, can you say that his faith was insufficient and that is why he was not healed.

II Corinthians 12:6:
6For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me. 7And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. 8For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

For those that say it is only a figure of speech then may I ask you WHY would God use a figure of speech else it takes away from His grace, for why would grace be needed.

For something you do not have you do not need help nor grace.

This comment would not be necessary if we were to forget doctrine and take the King James Version of The Bible is the infallible Word of God.

Of course we really should have a look at Job but as I do not want to spoil the Word I shall allow you to read the book of Job and see what can occur.

I hope I have raised more questions than answers and look forward to comments from readers.
