General Prayer
I have met many good Christians who do not like praying from a book, and consider that it does not have the same meaning, but, if this were so no one would pray The Lords Prayer, as it would most certainly be the most used prayer in our life. This prayer was given to the Disciples when they asked Jesus How should they pray.
When you feel more comfortable about praying then it is better that you come straight from the heart.
See Matthew 6:5 - 15
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
After this manner therefore pray ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father

Heavenly Father, what comfort it gives to know that my feet are established in an unshakable kingdom. Though I may shake, the kingdom in which I stand will not shake. For that I am deeply grateful. In Jesus' Name.
Lord Jesus, these are you hands; what do you want me to do with them, these are your feet where; do you want me to go, this is your mouth; what do you want me to say, this is your mind; what do you want me to think, these are your eyes; what do you want me to see.
Ephes 1:17-19 I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him, so that, with the eyes of your heart enlightened, you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, according to the working of his great power.
Ephes 3:16-21 I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask to imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen
