False Prophecy
Prophecy is of different types and I believe more difficult to truly understand.
At this time I am not dealing in prophecy but false prophecy.Have you ever heard a person say that they have a prophecy.
It is not uncommon for a Pastor to say that he has a WORD which he will pass onto you.
We must be very careful when told that something is prophetic and it must be tested.
Does it sound alright?
Do you feel comfortable with it.
Is it in line with God's word, It must never oppose Gospel.
Is the Pastor or Person telling you for his own self gratification.
Most times if you take care as to what you are told and possibly feel that it is prophetic, then you will receive confirmation by some other means
whether it be friend, associate, something someone may innocently say, or even as you read The Bible you may realise the truth.
If you feel that YOU have received something Prophetic, be patient and it will be proven to you.
The Bible does tell us that in the End Times we will be making things difficult for Preachers and Pastors as they will fall out of favour if they are
not preaching to you what YOU want to hear.
THE GOSPEL IS NOT ABOUT WHAT WE WANT TO HEAR BUT WHAT WE NEED TO HEAR.
1 Corinthians 14
4He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. 5I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
