What is a CHRISTIAN? Are YOU a CHRISTIAN?
What is a Christian?
I believe that to be a Christian we accept Our Lord Jesus Christ and that We Believe in the Death and Ressurection of Our Lord, accept His virgin birth, and that on the 40th day He physically/bodily ascended to take up His rightful place at the right hand side of God, Our Father in Heaven.
You know that there are many ways we tend to use to give people the Impression that we are followers of our Lord Jesus Christ, law abiding honest people.
I know that there is a lot of deception, lying, cheating and false teaching and that is just in the church so what is it like in the wider, often called Christian Community.
We are a Christian Country ? May I say at this point are you kidding?
Christianity is the backbone of our Community? Not of any community that I am aware of.
They are a very good and christian group, they never go to church but they always do what they think is right, really lovely people.
There used to be a time when Christians may have had the numbers but today they do not.
What I would accept is that that in most cases we should stop laying claim to Christ until we are prepared to take up the banner and follow Him.
I felt the need to write this article when I often see the name of Our Lord brought into disrepute, when the description Christian is used to portray other than the truth.
How often do you hear of something that has happened and the word christian is mentioned, whether it is talking of a neighbouhood, town or city, and in particular where some activity of what we would call an activist group where there had been damage or injury to person place or thing.
This is NOT a christian group and has no right to be called other than which it really is and that is an unruly mob of gentiles.
The Media cannot accept this as it does not make good headlines.
Ref:-Matthew 5:38-39 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
Matthew 5:44:
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
To be a Christian we cannot be activists, so if you are, then call yourselves as you should - Gentiles.
You are not followers of Christ.
Please readers do not say that these are modern times and that the Bible is out of date or that it needs updating for if you care to read the Word of God and thereby the King James Version of The Bible you may come to the understanding that I have and that is that the Bible is as valid and up to date now as it was when it was written, and I believe that is one of the reasons that Our Lord Jesus used parables as he spoke for he knew that they would mean the same today as they did at that time.
If you wish to be an activist then there are groups and religions that thrive on activism and war, Christians do not.
People claiming to be Christians may but that is because they have to bring the blame upon someone else not upon themselves as gentiles.
They are trouble makers and ARE NOT of Christ.

Mathew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life and few there be that find it.
